What’s it all about?

What’s it all about? – Never have been fond of the guessing game, on let’s try this place or that place and see if it works out, seeing if I can eat there with my allergies.  Plus, if you have people with you and they so want a certain type of food but you can’t eat there cause they can’t or won’t work with you on the allergies. You don’t want to have ask the whole table to leave and hear a collective moan or sigh, to go and try and find another place to eat.

One can have their share of to many salads even then asking for dressing on the side and no croutons because your allergic to wheat, soy, pepper, well you get the idea.  You don’t want to appear high-maintenance because you really aren’t BUT you want to eat safely and enjoy the time.  Plus, not be wondering the whole time if you are going to have a reaction.

One thing I came across with having multiple allergies while loving to travel, but not wanting to pack a ton of food because you don’t know where to find places.  Your standby restaurant might not be available in the city that you want to go to.  So now, TAB Street makes it easier, it’s a directory of allergy free restaurants and gluten free restaurants and it’s mobile ready for when you travel to travel to new cities, no matter the state and know that you can pull out your phone and geolocate up 100 miles from where you are a place where you can eat.  It could be right around the corner or down the block or even in the next city.

You can even get driving directions, walking directions and other options on how to get from where you are to where you want to go when that feature is made available.

.

Always remember: servers and chefs are not mind readers, so please ask questions and do inform the server/chef of your allergies and or gluten issues.  Be your own advocate! .
